Dartmoor Two6player EVO bike - Midnight Black - Medium

Dartmoor Two6Player Evo Dirt Bike 26" - Hardtail Dirt Jump/Pumptrack Bike

The dirt jump/pumptrack bike Dartmoor Two6Player Evo 26" builds on a frame platform Dartmoor has developed through four generations now (Two6Player, PUMP, PRO, PRO v2) – the Evo version carries over the updated tubeset and refined geometry from the pricier Pro model, just in a more accessible build. The spec follows the same philosophy: a Manitou Circus Expert fork with 100mm travel, a Samox DJ1 singlespeed drivetrain, and a 4-piston SRAM DB4 rear brake. The hardtail frame in AL 6061-T6 with a reinforced tubeset is built for repeated hard landings on dirt and pumptrack, not for trail riding. This bike is built for advanced and expert riders who already handle jumps and reading a pumptrack line, and who want a direct, simple setup without gears or unnecessary weight.

Key Features of Dartmoor Two6Player Evo Dirt Bike 26"

  • Reinforced AL 6061-T6 frame with integrated chain tensioners: Custom butting and a reinforced tubeset handle repeated hard landings, and built-in chain tensioners keep the singlespeed drivetrain tight without an extra part.
  • Manitou Circus Expert fork (100mm, 20mm axle): The heavier-duty 20mm axle, compared to common 15mm standards, holds steering precision through landings and repeated loading.
  • Samox DJ1 singlespeed drivetrain (28T, 155mm cranks): No derailleur or cables to damage in a crash – fewer parts, less maintenance, direct power transfer to the pedal.
  • SRAM DB4 4-piston rear brake (160mm rotor): Strong stopping power and good modulation from a single brake, a common setup on dirt/pumptrack builds – the frame's adjustable IS mounts let you add a front brake later if you want one.
  • Geometry across three sizes (Short/Medium/Long): Reach of 400/425/450mm at the same 69° head tube angle and 25mm BB drop – the sizes differ in frame length, not in riding character.
  • Kenda Booster Park 26x2.25" tires, 120 TPI, foldable: Low rolling resistance with solid grip on the packed surfaces of dirt lines and pumptracks.
  • 11kg weight (without pedals): Low weight makes the bike easier to move around in the air and softer on landings.

Pro-Platform Geometry at a More Accessible Price

The Evo version of the Two6Player carries over the updated tubeset and refined geometry from the same family as the pricier Pro model – the difference is in the component spec, not the frame construction itself. A reach of 400-450mm depending on size and a 69° head tube angle keep the bike stable on take-off and landing, while a 25mm BB drop across all three sizes keeps the riding character consistent whether you're on the Short or the Long frame – only the length changes, not the feel.

Integrated Chain Tensioners and Adjustable Brake Mounts

The frame has chain tensioners built right into the rear end – on a singlespeed drivetrain without a derailleur, they're what you use to dial in chain tension, without needing an eccentric bottom bracket or sliding dropouts. Adjustable IS brake mounts on both the frame and fork leave the door open for a later brake setup change without swapping the frame or fork. Full technical specifications (geometry by size, exact component dimensions) are in the Specifications tab on this product.

Wheels and Tires Built for Packed Park Surfaces

Dartmoor Shark 26" rims are 32-hole and laced to Dartmoor Reel hubs – a 110x20mm front hub under the Manitou fork, and a singlespeed rear hub with a 10-tooth cog driving the Dartmoor Iron chain. Kenda Booster Park 26x2.25" tires with a foldable bead and 120 TPI casing keep rolling resistance low on packed dirt and pumptrack concrete, without giving up grip when you push off edges and transitions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why does the bike only have a rear brake?

It's a deliberate dirt/pumptrack setup, not a missing part – plenty of dirt and pumptrack riders run only a rear brake, or none at all, for lower weight and simpler control in the air. Both the frame and fork have adjustable IS mounts, so you can add a front brake any time you want one.

What's the difference between the Two6Player Evo and the Two6Player PRO?

Both share the same evolving Two6Player family geometry, and differ mainly in component spec and price – the Evo is the more accessible build with the same updated tubeset, while the PRO targets a higher component level for more demanding use.

What rider level is this bike suited for?

This bike is built for advanced and expert riders who can already read a pumptrack line and handle basic to advanced jumps – the gearless singlespeed drivetrain and direct rear-only brake setup call for confidence in the fundamentals, this isn't a first bike to learn on.

How do I pick the right size (Short/Medium/Long)?

The three sizes differ in reach (400/425/450mm) at the same head tube angle and BB drop – the full geometry table is in the Specifications tab. If you're not sure which size fits your height and riding style, we're happy to help you choose in store or through customer support.

Can I add a front brake to this bike?

Yes. Both the Manitou Circus Expert fork and the frame have adjustable IS mounts for front and rear brakes, so adding a front rotor is a standard, fully compatible upgrade.
